I used HealthEquity's chat, that holds my Health Savings Account, to solve an invoice issue with Trinity Health-IHA Medical Group, that HealthEquity paid but Trinity rejected it due to its primordial, primitive, and Flinstone system! Not only that, Trinity referred it to its stupid collections agency named First Credit, FCi: It was worse than the movie Dumb and Dumber! The amount? $127.00. I had to waste an hour of my time on this trivial amount and collection agency's ignorance, just because of a faulty Trinity system! I called First Credit and the person who answered said she has been dealing all morning with calls from people who already paid Trinity Health's invoices. However, she could not find mine. She was surprised and shocked that I wanted to dispute the charge since I know it was paid! Then she hurriedly hung up the phone in my face to get another call. First Credit was no help at all!
However, the HealthEquity Customer Service Professional I called for help was very diligent, accurate, friendly, efficient, and re-assuring. He dug the information out and let me know what was the problem, and told me because of the provider's payment rejection, HealthEquity issued a paper check. He made a note to let the Provider and its collections agency know what happened and not to hurt my credit. Now that's a real customer service!

i get that the business they are in is a difficult one, but i dont appreciate being lied to when i am willingly and "happily" working with you. also, i didnt give the representative any reason to be rude to me and they still were. you catch more flies with honey, people...

First Credit Inc. Called me speaking about a debt that I already took care of through the provider directly. When I shared this info and suggested they call the provider, Amber insisted that this was not possible. Said that i needed to provide a bank statement and an updated balance. If there contract is with the provider, then the PROVIDER has the responsibility of updating the bill and the balance!
Most people will hear from a bill collector, worry about the effects to their credit, and start reading off their credit card number. NOT ME!! Call and con somebody else without doing your homework. NEXT

you need to teach your collectors to listen when they make a call. the man who called me was rude and stated he was going to put on my file that I was refusing to pay. that was never said he repeated it over and over again go for it but that is not what I said. I am calling the hospital now to let them know about your company you can not make threats to the people you call and yes that is a threat when you say you are going to put something in my file that I did not say. I asked for a bill to be sent. I just spoke with the hospital and yes they can send out another bill. So don't lie to the people you call. Do not call me ever again I will not deal with a company that doesn't know how to listen and just makes up what they want. I deal with collection companies all the time at my job and I will make sure that I never you your company or recommend your company. I never want someone talked to the way I was just talked to, teach them to be respectful and listen.

First Credit has been very helpful to me with my past affairs regarding my payments. There has been several representatives who were customer service friendly. They were attentive and willing to work with me the best way they can regarding my bill payments. I can attest that several representatives within the company as well as the company itself deserves the credit for that.

I'm over 3k in medical debt collections on bills that are STILL PENDING coverage, that I have been paying, and that are only 6 months old. They also kept trying to get me to agree on monthly payments that are way out of my budget when I bring in less than $500 every two weeks and I have a child to take care of. This place is super predatory and should not be in business

I received 2 medical statements today, I went to pay on line, I logged in, agreed to the statement, and could NOT advance, typed to on line chat, who told me to call and make it by phone, I want to view what I am doing and print it..TERRIBLE SITE AND CUST ASSISTANCE
