I have no idea why this place has negative reviews. When I was behind on bills and needed to make the dreaded call to tell them I couldn't afford it that week they went above and beyond for me. They kept my car on when they didn't need to and were very understanding. Especially Jill who is an absolute life saver to my family this past few weeks.
I look forward to paying this car off in a few years and purchasing another with this financial institution.

Stay away... far away... they do not work was off work due to covid so I got 1 payment behind car sat in my driveway remotely turned off because I had covid for a month before I got fed up and just said come get BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT WORK WITH ME. Now a year later they are pulling inquires on my credit. Place is a joke to say the least

Would give 0 stars if it were an option. This company does not work with its customers for payments. They do shady business. They sold my loan without notice and then, after selling my loan, continued turning my car off on me even though the new finance company was receiving my payments and it was not showing in their system that my vehicle had been disabled. I have to jump through hoops every two weeks just to be able to start my POS.

This place is a joke rheee never content about payment I have them give me report to my credit several times bad things so I'm doing the same they act as if there out of money talk to people with no respect. So people if you see this or read this don't get credit from creditors........

For the most part they’ve been fine. However, the company sold my account to another lender and informed me via text one week before my next payment was due. That’s not great customer service.

This is the worst financial institution, if you want to call it that. This company has the absolute worst customer service, sort of like loan sharks instead. The lead manager (Amanda) is absolutely the rudest person to speak to on the phone, unless you enjoy being talked down to and treated as if you were a child. If you want amazing service, ask for Dana. This company will not give you any kind of extension, unless you are willing to jump through hoops and put yourself into an embarrassing position. My story wasn't serious enough for them to care about, and 3 days was to long of an extension to ask for. I had to have emergency surgery on my neck and back and was on disability and kept up to date with my payments, even going without money to survive on because it was to much to fight with them for a extension. As I was ready to return to work, I found out that I had cancer and had that taken care of, and was still making my payments on time. I was again returning to work and needed 3 days to come up with the money but they wouldn't work with me and they shut the car off. This caused me not to be able to return to work causing me not to be able to pay my bills. Amanda gets in touch with me asking for a payment, when she caused all of this by not working with me for the 3 days. Now I'm in a financial hole, that could have been avoided with a little help and understanding. I would give them 0 stars if possible, but will let everyone I know instead, not to deal with this company, ever. And if they have to, deal only with Dana, she is the only bright spot in that place.

They’re vindictive. I complained to a manager about an account rep being rude and in return the account manager cut my car off right before they closed for the weekend. I have to work at 6a Monday and they don’t open until 930. My payment was made and there was no reason to cut my car off. I’m emotionally damaged from this. My lawyer will be investigating this more.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've had my car payment on time every week. I just went through a very hard passing with my uncle who I was close to and was off work for his funeral. I told them my situation to get my car payment moved back a couple days and they told me to send proof so I sent my before paystubs and after. They claimed they never got themand turned my car off the next day, mind you it was a Saturday so my young kids 2 and 5 got stuck outside in the freezing cold and rain till we could get the car towed home. By far the worst car loan you could ever go through! All they care about is money. I made it to the point where I told them to come get the car cause when I told them my kids got left outside in the cold they didn't even care. I had to wait till Monday just to even talk to anyone!! DO NOT GO THROUGH NORTHCOAST AT ALL!
