I've got mixed feelings towards Dixie Finance at the moment. I first contacted the Poteau, OK branch a few months ago and I was very pleased. Not just because they got me approved, but it seemed they were actually happy to help. I just left the same branch about 30 minutes ago not at all feeling the same way. I called last Friday (today is Wednesday) to see if there was a way to increase my loan amount due to a family emergency and I was told I could go up $50 and in addition to the increase I also had somewhere around $17 available which would get me to $67. I didn't have the time to make the 50 minute drive Friday, nor did I have the time the last couple days, and they are closed weekends. After calling today to let them know I was coming and to make sure nothing had changed, I used my gas and made the 50 minute drive to Poteau. Once I arrived, I was told that they could give me the increase of $50 but I would only be receiving $43.31, which is about $25 less than I was expecting, because the interest had hit causing my account to go into the negative!! I was also told that she put the increase in the system on Friday, even though I didn't come in, didn't sign anything and didn't receive any money!!! Correct me if I'm wrong but the interest that "hit my account" would have applied to the increased amount (that I had not even received yet) as it was charged to my account after she added the $50, right!? So to summarize, after making 2 of my 8 monthly payments on time I am negative $6.61 on my account and now I am adding 2 more payments for an increase of $50, but only get $43.41!! To top it all off, I wasn't even told this when I called today to make sure nothing had changed before I drove out there and the 2 people that work there did not at all seem eager to help me or explain anything to me!! NOT VERY SATISFIED!!!

The girls are fast and efficient, very helpful and even when very busy they continue to answer the incoming calls and customers questions and concerns as well
