My daughter and I had a joint car loan with People first. Never missed a payment. The car was totaled in may. Nationwide wrote them a check they claimed the had not received. Nationwide sent them another check again they claimed they didn’t receive. I again told the bank the car was totaled. Called nationwide they looked into it and turned out the bank gave the wrong address on the payoff letter. They already hit my credit report with a negative. I spoke to a person at the bank who told me all I could do was file a dispute. She couldn’t even give me someone else to talk to. 5 days later I’ve left countless voicemails and sent emails and still not a word. Tonight it looks like they corrected the poor information they provided. However my score still appears to have taken a big hit. Poor customer service and they made no attempt to help resolve any of this. I wouldn’t trust this bank with a nickel

This bank is very unprofessional. They changed their automated system and it’s horrible. You have to wait 40 minutes just to speak to somebody I have been calling for a week and a half and I have not gotten no resolution on my issues I keep calling and all I have to do is keep waiting like 30 to 40 minutes to speak to somebody. I don’t recommend it back to anybody. And then when you put a review in or asked to speak to a supervisor, you don’t get a call back and all they tell you is to email them your concerns to the email address they provide, but they actually don’t take us customers in consideration of how we feel. I have been with this bank for years and I regret it now I’m definitely looking to move forward to a different bank.

Your new Mac tellerphone service is awful. I can't check on my withdrawals from checking any further back than 5 transactions. No choices are given to check cashed checks previously than the last 5 transactions. Not cool!!! Awful customer service, can't talk to a live person. Not happy.

Worst customer service, every time you try to call customer service it is a consistently ridiculous long wait time. I tried the new texting option and it's been 4 hours now without a response. I've currently been on hold now for 25 minutes just to find out if the local branch accepts rolled change. Being able to contact locations directly was much better than waiting over an hour for simple question. Time to look for a new bank that cares about their customers and values their time.

Deborah Koons is the epitome of excellence. Her knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. Deborah has helped in resolving any issues when needed. I have yet to experience anything less than perfection. Truly I recommend her to anyone working with People First. Overall, she is phenomenal and great to deal with!!!

Yeah. No. I quit this place due to customer service and integrity issues. Lots of parking with the handicap spaces way too far away from the building. You couldn't find a bank to wait longer in line. Try another.

I had this bank for over eight years and ever since they change the automated system It is very hard to speak to a customer service and then you’re on hold for 45 minutes and nobody picks up. This bank is going downhill. I don’t recommend it. I am looking into switching.
