Lanco federal credit union is under staffed and can not keep up with customers, you can’t reach anyone for hours and when you do speak to someone you are put back on hold…only then to be told there is nobody in that department! Worst customer service. Very disappointed and recommend using a bank that can keep up with customers. After 20 years and multiple family members that have been there longer, this will be our last year with LFCU.

The tellers are wonderful, however, if you are looking for a loan, DO NOT go there, the process is extremely long and quite a bit of lost communication. Over 35 days later, and still no definitive answers.

Never easy to get ahold of anyone. You have to physically go into the branches. Not a good bank for someone who has a busy workload.
UPDATE: Doesn't let you reply to anyone on google review, but I must say LANCO still proves me right with never answering phone calls. I'm trying to reach out to someone to cancel my bank account since I opened with someone else who answers their phone calls. This bank wont last long with individuals that have busy schedules or self employed.
If you want a strong bank with strong customer service check out members 1st. Haven't been disappointed and top notch customer service!

Only good if you have small simple banking needs. Manager changes very often, they don’t bother even to interact with you, short staff and always new staff for the most of time, Except one or two teller nobody seems to care. If you need to speak to somebody always a long wait.
Their customer service representative is never in the office.

I will not give this place any type of good review. Do not take your money here! We have been banking with them for over 4 years, and now we have had enough! Just in the last year they have let 4 unauthorized withdrawals go from our account, 2 within the last month. Now at what point is the bank held responsible for negligence with our funds?
Also after the first 2 times they promised to secure our account and yada yada yada but guess what? Money still goes missing. Now 2 out the four times they didn't even know about the withdrawals. We had to bring it to their attention. On top of all of that, we now wanted to remove all our money and close the account. But guess what? They want to keep the account open for ten days with no activity, but how is that supposed to happen when random people that don't have their name on our account can just waltz in and pull money whenever they please. This in no way is any type bank you want to be involved with.
PEOPLE OF LANCASTER PLEASE RETHINK AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE BY GOING WITH A MORE RESPONSIBLE BANK!

I've had my car note through Lanco FCU for almost 2 years. I got a great rate (I do have exceptional credit), however, the team is always happy and available to assist. I've called in a few times with various requests and each time the employees are kind & knowledgable. Nothing bad to say here.

Alyx Wagner, Loan Service Rep, was WONDERFUL! I wasn't sure how to transfer my car registration to another state, and she walked me through the whole process. She followed up afterwards as well.
She was quick to answer my questions via email. Her customer service was exemplary. We need more helpful people like her!
