Definitely the best bank in Pittsburgh..The over draft banking account is the best. No matter what..your Account Can Never over draft ....and you no banks make millions of of over drafts. The managers at this bank are great.

Just opened an account before they closed. Their relationship banker was kind, professional, and courteous throughout the banking process. They didn't just treat me like a number unlike the other bank nearby.

I like the bank, but the individual that works in the mortgage department will never get back to you. My DH and I were shopping around for a home mortgage and he gave us the run around. Between never answering his phone when you call, rarely calling you back, and taking weeks to reply to emails. It was very annoying and we are now going with another company for our mortgage.

I rarely write bad reviews but I just feel compelled due to how nice my experience(s) always have been with this Bank. I had an issue with Lyft over the Weekend upon prepaying $50.00 to my Lyft account as I was stranded and needed a ride. I didn’t know my account balance as I expressed to your Senior Bank representative though They didn’t help Me with that issue before leaving your Bank Today and so I was unable to predict that I would overdraw my account as I unfortunately did amounting to almost $400.00 in overdraft fee(s). I learned that Lyft automated a series of ‘Authorized Payments” despite my having payment method and payment recurrence both set to not authorize serial payments as well as a separate setting specifying that my preference is to pay once meaning at my authorization each time, presenting what can only be presumed to be an error with Lyft and / or their app which I even showed to your Senior Banking Manger Who insisted approximately 10 times that I authorized those payments once even rolling her eyes while I was speaking and letting out a sigh. I insisted upon waiting to speak with a Manager rather than be called on the phone after being asked to have your Senior Bank Manager call Me 4 times which to Me felt dismissive as if to make Me just go away. During my time waiting to speak with a Manager I asked your Loan Officer if He was a Manager after which He expressed to Me that “Whatever She can do or can’t do is no different than what a Manager can do if that’s what You’re thinking….A Manager won’t tell You or do anything different than whatever She can do.”. That came across weirdly defensive as I merely responded to their question as to what was my issue which I did politely and calmly. I implied or presumed nothing negative or pathological to my issue though that clearly was presented to Me as such multiple times. I left after two of many overdraft fees were reversed returning to Me $82.00 of almost $400.00 instead of at least half of those fee(s) or preferably all returned given that error in an app on my phone that was beyond my control. That was made clear to Me that I was lucky that even was done for Me as I had an overdraft fee waived in May which felt incredibly condescending and given back my ID and bank card with two more identical verbal explanations of why I authorized those transactions even though I didn’t despite trying to prove that and again adding that I effectively was lucky that I got anything waived after losing $400.00. I will bank at a different Dollar Bank branch from now on but that shocked even Me having grown up in North Hills and never having that downhill of an experience at your bank. I believe that if fees were to be waived especially under specific and timely circumstances over the Weekend in need and without access to my Online Banking which still is unresolved and with an error on an app that will be brought to Lyft’s attention that all of the fees should have waived not just two to make an example of my ‘stupidity’ of my use of my account. There is no need to be rude to Anyone like that and especially when I was perfectly polite merely asking and answering questions in search of resolution to my issue.
