Been a member for sometime now, but only recently started having issues here. Multiple fees incurred on my account due primarily to issues with their mobile banking not accepting my checks for mobile deposit. Don’t really care about the $30 dollar fee (although it wasn’t my fault in the least) but it took about 3 weeks to get Absolutely anyone to respond to my repeated inquiries as to whether they could waive my fee. They didn’t. I tried mobile chat on their app, and a “Wayne” was supposed to call me back on multiple occasions. Only after repeated phone calls was I informed my request was denied (with no notice to me). Finally Jami at least had the decency to call me today and explain things. Will probably be switching credit unions - your whole selling point is customer service and no fees and this experience is a bit too reminiscent of wells fargo for my liking.

Told me I was approved for loan and that all I needed to do was find a car. Found a car, then they told me they had to redo my loan application because I had moved. Told me I needed a copy of my lease agreement, my last two pay stubs, and a few other documents that would take me weeks to get. I have banked with them for years, have a credit score of over 800 but apparently I was a risk for not making a $175/month car payment. Went to Sioux Falls Federal and they were able to help me out right away!! Long story short I’m switching to Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union for all my banking needs now.

Bc of there hours change to 430. I'm unable to go to the bank bc of my work sced and unable to leave for my lunch. I explain my situation and she told me it's not there fault of the hours and ppl come on lunch break. So now we have to work around eating food to serve them !!!!

Just started banking there 3 months ago. My credit was terrible helped me fix that. I needed a new car helped me get that. I needed a bank accout (because everyone says everyone neededs a bank account (common myth)) and they got me set up with one. Overall I got all the services I needed with a great amount of help and information

There are other banks that will treat you better. This bank profits off of over draft, return and atm fees. There are maybe 2 member service agents (Amanda- card services and Caleb) who put people first before business. Their app doesn’t even offer the option to lock your card, this should tell you all you need to know.

Takes a lot for me to leave a negative comment. Service First FCU is a great example of a bank who truly lacks customer service and appreciation for their customers.
Unfortunately they do not support business accounts or customers individual needs. I could provide names of every person I have encountered that lacked communication skills or even respect.
I am thankful that I was able to find a new bank to handle my business accounts. It was only after having numerous interactions with my new bank that I realized the amount of disrespect I endured at Service First.
This bank lacks:
-Communication skills
-Follow through
- Small Business Support
-Customer growth
Do not take the chance of banking here. Although it is inconvenient to start with a new bank, it’s worth it when it means you are treated with respect, and appreciation.
My new bank: First National Bank of Sioux Falls
- I didn’t even realize that a bank can go above and beyond to support your success until coming to FNB.
