Happy state will be sure to make you unhappy. Unfortunately this bank has gone downhill over the years. Customer service can take upwards of 4 hours waiting to be seen by personnel. The app they have consistently has flaws, and doesn't work. Most of the staff are polite, but generally act like patrons are an annoyance.
Every time they update the banking computer system, you'll have to double-check your account. Make sure you don't accidentally get switched back off of paperless bank statements (that will cost you money too of course) Over all the experiences I've had with this bank have been unpleasant, time consuming, frustrating, and impersonable. I highly suggest finding literally any other bank or credit union to keep your money with.

Wonderful staff. I always feel welcome through these doors. I am a creature of stress and worry. As I travel I tend to bring out the worst in people. Coming to this bank has not one ever triggered an episode. Truly professional and kind service. Thank you so much for making my banking needs an easy and pleasant experience.
Edit- I take it back. It is easier to make a customer look like he's trying to commit fraud over a simple mistake. Just another business covering their liability by making it the customers problem

This is a beautiful bank, and the staff is competent and helpful. I particularly recommend Annabelle if you need some kind of specialized assistance. She is kind, knowledgeable and professional.

I've done a lot of banking in my life and Happy State Bank is by far the best! They are prompt and quick to service their customers. I've never had one issue in my banking experience with them! Excellent!!!

Now it’s a second time around that I can’t access my account money or get money transferred! I use this account to get money transferred for my business and store business money! Here we are on a Sunday and I can’t make any money ! Why because it won’t let me log into the app and set up a money transfer ! I’m going down Tuesday and closing my account. I’m sick I mean sick of happy state bank!

HSB has turned into complete garbage since being bought. App doesn't work, website doesn't work, hours are awful, can't get a hold of anyone.
I look forward to the automated response to this review. Let me guess: "Happy State Bank, a division of Centennial Bank, strives to provide excellent service to our customers. We have received your complaint and acknowledge that you felt you were not given the attention and gratitude you deserve.
