This is by far the worst company I ever had to deal with in my life!! I sent documents June 15th and it took them until August 9th that the power of attorney paper was signed wrong by the notary! No one in customer service speaks good English and they all are incompetent! I wish I never thought about switching auto loan companies cause this is a nightmare! Now I have to spend more money to resend the documents! I won't recommend coming to this place for nothing not even advice!

This company is so full of S. h. I. T. They are so greedy and full of it. They have an opportunity to settle a car that is wrecked & valued at 12,123.09 but they can settle for 12, 863.36 for for a 7 year old car but the company wants interest & fees to equal $26k for the car to close the account because they said they hurting for money with all the data lawsuits so they gotta squeeze & hustle to make a dollar with no moral compass just bloody money

I’m a victim of identity theft, received a notice that my SS# on an application with this company.
I called & spoke to John (if that is really his name) he was so rude, not helpful. When I asked were there any red flags that there 3 different applications within weeks of each other, John rudeness escalate (very unprofessional)
Now I need to either get a letter from the dealership that it wasn’t me, which would be hard to do because John didn’t provide it, when I had questions I was told by John “your talking over me” (which I wasn’t).
I can also file a police report, but again I need to know at least what city the dealership is in to make one
Didn’t apply for any auto, but if I do in the future it wouldn’t be this one.

This lender works with dealerships stealing from consumers with PREDATORY LENDING PRACTICES ! IF ANYONE HAS ACQUIRED WITH ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ATTACHED WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE

Literally THE worst customer service ever.
I needed to get my title transferred for out if state. Was told it was on its way, supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks. When I called THEM 8 weeks later i was told it never was on it way and there was an issue with an address. Which they are ignoring the fact that other states do title and tag places and not a dmv. I am disgusted with how terrible they were at handling this issue. The man i talked to today had so much background noise i could barely understand him .
Update i spoke with jenny in solutions and she sorted my problem so that makes it a little bit better but still should have called.

The credit card app is wonderful and I've been able to pay my bills without any problem, but the auto loan portion of the app is garbage. I attempted to make a payment 3 times with the same bank account info that I use to pay my credit card and it got returned every single time. Their customer service reps could not help me either. Kept saying I was rejecting it or my financial institution was. It was neither of us. I called my bank all 3 times and they said they never saw any request from capital one. When I asked if I could just make a payment with my debit card over the phone to get it taken care of they said there was a fee they could not waive. That's ridiculous since it's definitely not my problem the app isn't working properly. They said there would be no fee involved when the account is 22 days past due and I call in to make a payment! So backwards. In the end, I never got to talk to someone higher up and I had to get my bank to cut a check and send it to them. Very disappointed that I'm going to have to do that every time. I might refinance with another company as soon as I can.

I can’t believe this company is even allowed to operate as is. I paid off my auto loan three years ago and called countless times, never to receive the title. I felt like I was speaking to a robot every single time I called. Maybe one out of fifty reps I spoke with seemed to even sympathize with me or want to be remotely helpful. I eventually just gave up completely and had someone else try to retrieve my title (for a car I paid off three years ago! Should be easy right?). This company has no respect for their customers and is just another greedy bank. I will never finance through them again.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Their customer service is a total joke and not helpful at all. If incompetent were a group of people or would be them. I tried to get my address changed so they I could receive the refund check they issued me and hit transferred 3 times over a down of 25 minutes. The last one I got transferred to was the same person I spoke with about getting another title sent to my current address. Strangely, the letter they sent me to let me know my car was paid off went to me current address. But the title and refund check went to my previous address. I'm so mad right now!!
