So today I needed to get some funds, and I have had several loans with One Main Financial and have paid all of them off without issue. Today I went online and applied and a lady from this office called me with the first name R. She informed me that they needed my pay stub, DL, W2 and bank that I get deposits in. I provided everything put the bank statement because I get paid with a live check which is on my pay stub. I get a call from Terry Lopez with a nasty attitude at about 5:30pm asking me for bank statement and ID. I informed her that I get a live check just like Informed her co-worker and was told that was find. They had me hunt down my W2 for 2021 and it all came down to them wanting me to have a checking account that I deposit my pay in which I do not have and that is way I was decline. She became nasty by stating over and over we can not continue, and then stated that she had already cancelled the application and I will receive a letter explaining. She was not understand, and she over talked me several times. Run before they get you, I am now happy that I did not go with them. I went to Republic Finance in Bedford after I got off the phone with Terry Lopez and her attitude and was approved and funded within minutes. Do not do business with One Main Financial they will waste your time and decline you after you provide them all of your information.
Recap: So OneMain Financial responded with a generic response. They don't address any issues in my complaint. Doing the application part I informed the agent that I did not have a checking account that I get a live check and was told that was okay. However, after sending all of my documents they rejected my request because I did not have a checking account for direct deposit. The did not address the managers (Terry Lopez) attitude towards me when I ask questions. She just wanted off the phone to the next person she did not give a dame about my issues.

My experience with OneMain financial was professional, friendly, pleasant & successful. Ty "Terry" Teresa @ the Keller branch for her diligent work ethic. She guided me through the whole process with exceptional knowledge and patience. 5 stars for sure!

So the first time I had a loan was fine. Now this time I'm told I'm approved for 21,000. They will take my truck note and basically refinance it and pay off their loan and one more loan and then I get so much money to pay off other bills. So Now the loan is almost $25,000. They paid off their loan and the truck, when I kept asking about the other loan I was told yes it will be paid off too. I asked 3 to 4 times and was told yes. I call back today to find out why the other loan has't been paid and I'm told we didn't pay it off, that was for you to pay off. I told Christina, we discussed this several times if this loan would be paid off. I was told yes every time. Now I'm told I thought you were talking about the truck. I said seriously? The truck for $1000.00. No I said the personal loan and again she said yes it was included. Now today I am told I don't remember discussing that. I said of course you don't ,how convenient. She said I'm sorry i don't remember that . I'm so mad right now. Then she said well you are within the 7 days, I can put a stop payment on the check and you can give the other money back. I said of course, now that I have paid off quite a few bills. DO NOT go there!!! I will now be paying on this truck forever and if anything happens to the truck, i am SCREWED!!!! I need to figure out something because now there is 5 to 6 grand that I have no idea where it went. Again, I am so mad, Will never ever do business with them again. I hope to God something happens where I can pay this off asap!!!

The woman who took my info upon arrival discovered I had been assigned to a “Sarah”. After making Sarah aware of this, all she had to say was “I’m on the phone..” with an attitude.
We will be looking into services at a different branch. I didn’t have a problem waiting, but the vibe and attitude was enough for me.
I’d recommend Norma at this particular branch. She was great over the phone as well as in person.
I say this because she went out of her way to ask if we were okay after the fact, and still offered her services knowing Sarah would gain the credit if we were to move forward. Shout out to Norma for being professional!

Very harassing, wasn't late until virus pandemic yet they called 5-6 times a day even on Christmas eve talked to 3 different reps that day because theirs no communication within the company. And with the pandemic even though the state suspend charge offs and repossessions they continued to charge off and tried to repossess. We were impacted, like everyone else yet you continued to ignore the OCCC guidelines and charged of my account and tried to repossess, calling One Main doesn't help. Filing a complaint with the OCCC and the BBB might.
