Extremely poor service. Would give negative stars if possible. My loan was approved within a couple hours which was great! Then came the struggle. I was told to head into the branch to pick up my check. Upon entering, A representative Jill Bruce started telling me there was missing paper work, etc. I showed her the signed and completed econtract, and she replied with an “im not sure what to do”. After 3 days of back and forth and Jill telling me “just one more thing then ill get your check” i decided to rescind my application and close all my accounts. Within a couple hours of that I was approved at North Country and had a check in my hands! Would never ever recommend this bank! Horridly slow service with no regard for customers. I watched 3 customers have arguements with other reps while sitting there wondering where mine disappeared to. Jill would leave for 40 mins at a time to come back with no answer. And all the other reps were answering complaints with “im sorry we can’t do anything about that”

Have you ever thought Vermont was like a small town in the middle of no where? We’ll look no further than VSECU to have your assumptions confirmed! Here in this backwater bank the tellers will act like they know what they’re talking about when in reality they struggle to pump out words that even resemble a sentence. They are there to waste your time and take your money. Look for a real bank.

Great bank to work with --- with a local focus. I do not have a branch anywhere near where we live, so it is completely online. Would love to see at least one more physical branch in eastern VT - close to WRJ.

Horrible customer service. The branch was empty on a Friday morning and we tried to make a deposit with a 'shared bank'. We moved here and hadn't opened a local account. The Teller was clearly uninterested in helping us.

Horrible customer service directly from the bank manager. They closed my account out from inactivity and it was all do to them repeatedly updating my address incorrectly. They never once tried to call me about it... Better banks all over the place. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with and all I've been trying to do is keep a savings account there...
