I wish I could give zero stars personally to Darci! I remember when she came to our business United Furniture in Aberdeen in 1998-1999. Back when they were only one suite in the building they are currently in. My first car loan came from them. We pushed for their financing because we wanted to establish a community credit union. Fast forward to today. Since, we have 4 kids, (one has an account at the CU) bought a house (which they only had limited 15yr lending for), so we went thru the very supportive US Bank. Which I would recommend. We own a corporate business and I personally have 3 college degrees. I don't say this to brag. I say this to empress upon you that to what degree I understand how growth has deteriorated this establishment. It's a corporation so frustration is distributed and never accountable. I tried to air my frustration after all these years with Darci and she asked that I go online, so that the outreach would be further. I thought this was a strange ask. Yet, here I am. We will be moving our account, but now it literally don't matter because the Great NW has grown to extremes to almost "to big to fail." There has been loads of turn over, but the one constant is Darci. Bigger isn't always better. Though it might not help... I lost my faith in credit unions and personally will move my business account and personal account to a Bank.

Through the many years now I've been with. Greatnorthwest. And through those years they have been so very good to me affording me to get an RV to snowbird in my retirement.

My rating is dropping unfortunately. I have banked with them for years and recently, it seems that nobody on the floor is trained very well. I needed an account set up by the end of the week. Friday, I was told I needed a certain original hard copy, through the mail because their policy had changed. The brochure she handed me did not state that detail. I later found a digital copy and called them asking if it would work. We decided I would email it to them to verify. She confirmed I would get a response in an hour if it was sufficient. I did not.
Saturday, I called and explained the situation. After a very long hold, I was told that the document would work. I told her I would be in before closing to set that up. When I got there, I was told that they need at least an hour to set up the account. I was once again turned away.
It seems the account could have been set up on Friday with a bit of better communication. Neither time did they have more than two customers other than myself with a full staff. Despite the enormous inconvenience, the girls were pleasant. And I have had a wonderful experience in the past.
I am writing this for training purposes, in hopes that my experience will increase in the VERY near future. And that this is not an indication of the service I will continue to be receiving.

Love this Credit Union - I moved a few months back, and wanted to open my accounts a bit closer to home, so after doing a bit of research chose GSNFCU. So happy with their service! Setting up the accounts was easy, great reminders and notifications and great staff to work with! I also have the opportunity to work with them as a trusted partner for business services. GSNFCU is doing all they can to maximize their knowledge and expertise to assist business members in growing their businesses in 2021. Great bunch of folks here who care about their members!

Great place to finance a vehicle. Saved us $175 a month on our truck. I had a medical emergency and they worked with us on our payments till i was recovered. Then We just got a dodge journey and again awesome interest rate and affordable payments. Great customer service.

Skyler at Great Northwest FCU went above and beyond to help me relocate to Hawaii. I needed written permission to ship my truck and when I called asking for said permission, I had no idea what was needed. Not only did he look up what I needed, he went to a shipping website, found a template of some kind, typed it up, got it notarized, AND overnight shipped it to me so I would have it when I dropped the truck off at the port 4 days later. He made the whole experience painless and easy. I’ve never had this level of care and professionalism before. Definitely consider Skyler and Great Northwest FCU for your vehicle loan needs!
