Terrible from the start. Didn't want to honor the 200 sign on bonus. I am currently locked out of my account for supposedly over drafting which I know I didn't. They have locked me out three times total, been asked to come into local branch( view) Three times to show ID which one letter said the they thought it was fake?, have received over 20 letters from them all contradicting what the last one daid, the phone operates are not at all helpful. Tell me why even if I was overdraft but I'm not wouldn't at least let you access to visual see your bank transactions? That to me is illegal. I am so insulted by what they have done to me I don't care to hear anymore excuses. I am not to blame whatsoever and I refuse to be spoken down too or insulted anymore.

When we first opened our account in 2005 they were great. However they quickly declined. High staff turnover. New staff not as friendly, professional, or experienced. Despite our good credit we couldn’t get a home loan from them. HAPO did it with ease for us. A few other times we have dealt with them for loan purposes and every time it has been the most complicated process often with less then ideal outcomes. KeyBank is the banking world equivalent of a stereotypical car salesman. Full of promises, only to change the deal slyly at the very end or leave out key information until you are too far into the process. Go to a credit union before going to KeyBank. On the technical side their app is faulty. It takes anywhere from 4-10 tries to do a deposit on the app, you get error message after error message and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. When you contact them they argue That it should work or that it’s working fine or that they will look into it and nothing changes. Again, HAPO’s app deposits checks quickly without issues. KeyBanks corporate customer service is in a foreign country, HAPO local. I’m starting to think after writing that that two stars might be too generous.
