On a holiday weekend, Sound CU cancelled all my cards for "suspect purchases" that I had plenty of funds for without any notification. So I had to wait a few extra days to walk in to a bank. Finally get there, and I'm not the only individual in line with this issue. When I ask to order a new card, they say they can only mail it (7-10 day wait) due to all branches ordering new card machines. This is not the first time I've had this issue with them but it's even more baffling to see multiple people in line with this issue and just in time for them "ordering new card machines".

I recently refinanced my auto loan, there were a couple of "hiccups" but Stevie J. quickly and efficiently remedied the situation. I'm very happy with the end result. I'd also like to note that since this branch opened, it's my favorite branch as the entire staff is always pleasant and helpful.

My Son and I went to Sound CU to have him apply for a Auto loan. The process was smooth from start to finish. The team work from the Graham Branch to the Aurora Branch made the transaction very easy with the dealer in Seattle. Customer Service was great, and I was impressed with the knowledge they shared with my son so that he would have a better understanding of the entire process. This was my son's first loan, and I can not express the level of detail and clarity they were sharing. We are now thinking of getting our new car refinanced through them, that's how well everything worked and the APR was below anywhere else we looked at.

There's a lady named " MiCELL/ MyCell" not sure on the spelling, I bank here awile now and just getting off work so im not to pleasant to look at but the Transaction shoulda been very simple in and out but No it definitely was not SMH. "MiCell/ MyCell" again this is the name she gave me but wasn't wearing a name badge so who knows if it was legit ? My purpose was to trade in 20$ for 2 Rolls of Quarters for Laundry, at first she took the money and proceeded with transaction then she says im gonna need to see some ID, So i say for Quarters ? She says I need your ID #.. I live very close and did not have this info on me and she wouldn't exchange my $20 Cash for 20$ in Quarters... She made such a simple exchange into a very Big deal and wouldnt cash me out. Afterwards i went down the street to another Credit union and had no issues, I was in and out ... This is the only reason why iam leaving this Review. This lady acts like shes better then some regular hard working individual off the streets that I assume was thinking that I did not bank there SMH. I go there every week and never am i carded or have issues besides this lady... For record I do Bank here and at that Branch but Im not sure for how much longer lol. Getting Treated like a criminal just to exchange cash for Quarters is ridiculous

Sound Credit Union has been superior in their service to us for years. We were so excited to have the Graham branch open. Yesterday I went in for the first time to do some business. I was greet with a giant smile and quickly directed to Maggie, the asst. branch manager. She was so friendly and helpful. She gave the help and information I needed. And today as I had additional questions she was right there to help my husband an me through the process. She is not only very professional, but very helpful and friendly. Not often seen in today's world. I highly recommend the Graham SCU branch. You will be treated with heartful care and understanding.

I have been à member of sound cu for as long as i remember. Never have had a single complaint. I am proud to be a member. They even caught shut my Card Down and Called me before i even realized that my Wallet had been stolen. The use Didnt match my history, and was flagged While they verified that it Wasnt me.
As great as that is, the Staff is phenomenal, knowledgable, and affable and has notified me when they offer advantageous options to make savlngs have more returns than the basic interest. Sound CU Customer service is the gold standard for Banks. They Stayed open to ensure my request for a 20k withdrawal was secured.
From my Parents, Sibling and my own Wife and daughter…..all choose to bank with Sound CU, and Will Continental mööl
They have Bill counting and. Coin counting machines among With Staff that make me feel at Home.

Final update: we pulled 3 savings 3 checking and paid off a loan to be done. I told them even if they had zero interest i would never be back. You just can't use a financial institution that screws up paying your bills and changes payees. So very frustrating after 8 years to go through pain of switching But...so HAPPY I did. Sound Credit Union you SUCK!
UPDATE 6: What ever company they use for bill pay is a scam that said my payee called them and changed the account my check was to go to. This is not correct and is an absolute lie after the 1st time they sent check wrong i called my payee and went over everything and to be safe i went in deleted my payee and reintertered all the info in sound bill pay.
UPDATE 5: You just cant make this stuff up somwone closed my issue and said it was resolved ummm no, no one told me that karwn powell from sound left a mesaage on how I HAD A QUESTION on bill pay. I replied no i dont have a question on bill pay that it is a bill pay issue. They should be able to look in thier system and see i have been trying to get answers on why THIER bill pay PAYING the WRONG company not the company i am trying to pay. They said someone would call me with resolutuon well they also said third party bill pay will contact me and that never happened either.
UPDATE 4 Now i have sent an email through my account this lack of response and zero cutomer service is so vwry frustrating obviously we are just the working people living pay check to paycheck so our 6 or so accounts dont matter to them.
UPDATE 3: sent another email to address they listed in reaponse still no reply to original message. Obviously they want me to take all our accounts somewhere else.
UPDATE 2: obviously the reference to email them was so anyone reading this would go oh look sound handled it but nope i emailed as they requested and they dont respond to my email. I even included my post and thier response in email so they would know i was doing as they requested.
UPDATE1: Now they want to talk to me like i havent already talked to them multiple times on this issue. I did send an email asking for a manager.

The people at this location are nice and knowlegeable. But if you are going to use bill pay this is not the financial institution for you. 3 months, (yes 3 months it started in december and is february) now they have been sending my payment to wrong company. First they tried to tell me it was my fault because account number was wrong of course account number was wrong because they sent payment to wrong company. Then they said it was 3rd parties fault well sound you have contracted with that company so it is your fault it is your contract service. Meanwhile i am paying fees to company i am trying to pay because they arent sending my payment to correct company. Sound doesnt give a rip hear clapping hands saying we are done not our fault. We are now looking at moving our entires families accounts somewhere else. We are little guys with only 6 plus accounts so we arent important.
