We go to the Money Tree on 3rd & Pine in downtown Seattle. My boyfriend and I went in there last week to cash a money order I had actually gotten previously a few weeks ago from the post office right down the street. Chu Chu helped us and is the nicest, friendliest person they have working there, so thank you, Chu Chu.

Tried to cash the third stimulus check, of a friend of mine that is in Europe and he sended his check, and endorsed it on my name, and they required his presence. But thats imposible. Totally useless company.

They're predators that make a commission off of low-wage workers in a tough spot. They'll also lie about your repayment to scam as many fees as possible out of you. Document all of your payments and REALLY read your contract- according to Washington State law you have way more time to repay than the loan terms and they HAVE TO let you make payments with no additional fees as long as you repay it within six months. Don't let their bill shark, "boy mom" personality billing department crew bully you out of your rights.

Not only do they staff cop a attitude and disrespect the clients they refuse to take card for money orders saying you have to have cash. Who in the right mind is going to run around with cash in Seattle. That's just asking to get mugged. I don't recommend this place to anyone ever.

I just went off the Moneytree at 3th and Pike St crying and feeling disrespected and judged about my appearance, the attend named chu chu, was rude, mean disrespectful to me about my homeless current situation, she was smiling asking me where I live, what I do for a living, If I'm an international student, and if I prefer to ear her speak in Spanish instead because she realizes I was uncomfortable to answer all those questions because has nothing to do with the service I was there for.
It was a bad experience, horrible customer service.
chu chu you judge too fast 🆗 not all homeless need to look like they are 🆗 exist places that we can take a shower/bath 🆗 existed donation clothes so we can dress 🆗
