Horrible service with no help whatsoever. I attempted to apply online, Was given an error message to call their central line, central line told me to go to a local branch. The branch Assistant Manager, Randy, was not only unhelpful but frankly lazy. He simply told me "sorry there is nothing I can do for you, you have to go back to your application and prove your income where you're getting the error message"
Okay buddy let me just go do that, thanks. Never even got my application in. When I was obviously very frustrated he simply showed me the door.
Did not make any extra attempt to solve what is clearly a software issue.
Absolutely ridiculous.

My boyfriend and I have received 2 loans from this location. We make our payments on time and have never missed one. Not one payment. At this point we are struggling a bit due to rent increase and so we called to see if they could help in any way and was rudely informed by Ms. Makala that unless income has changed, they cannot help us. I said okay so if we can no longer afford to make payments you can't help? She repeated herself as if I didn't hear her. Saying income needs to change in order to recieve assistance of any kind. It's like they're only nice while you're applying for the loan and once you're in it, they're completely hateful. Also, don't waste your time emailing as no one responds! Ever. Extremely unprofessional staff. Honestly do not get a loan here. One main is a major rip off with the interest. DO NOT GET A LOAN HERE! YOU WILL SORELY REGRET IT.

I've had a loan with one main for about 5 years now, my first loan is almost paid off. I could pay it off completely right now, but chose to see what I qualified for if I chose to refinance and take out a new loan. I prequalified for 9500 unsecured so I applied. Came back at 12500 secured. For one, I never asked for that much, for two I received a call the next day the male on the phone seemed very blunt and almost unreasonably aggressive in tone. He said I need a car title to further my loan, I told him I don't have a car titled in my name and he said okay I'll close your application. I figured there would've been more communication. Or negotiation. I have made 100% of my payments on time for 5 years but that seems to have not gotten me anywhere with one main and they don't seem to value that in any way. I'll take my business elsewhere going forward.

I have avoided businesses like OMF and then I reluctantly applied based on a recommendation from Credit Karma. Not only did I qualify, but they doubled my qualification amount, and I liked the terms... ALOT! Every. Single. Penny. Was used exactly as what was needed for and our family is very thankful. The process was from 10pm (online application) to 3pm the next day; with money being deposited by 330pm. (Would have been faster if my husband didn't have to work.) My husband and I were blown away. Very efficient, very concise, and very fast is OMF's business practice. 👏 Thank you OMF! Thank you Randi (town and country branch) for processing our loan and funds! 😊

I received a call from one main the other day after looking for a personal loan on experian. I never directly contacted one main, I was contacted by Sarah who told me they would do a secure loan for 5800 dollars on a car I'm financing. She told me all I needed to do was bring in active insurance and a 20 day pay off document from my cars financing company. She told me everything had been approved with the under Writter. All I needed to do was to drive the car in, Sarah told me the exact terms of the loan etc. So I paid 1,200 dollars to get the insurance needed to obtain the loan. I sat for 2 hours doing everything I was asked, Sarah asked for my bank card to process the loan. 30 minutes later she returns to the office I'm sitting in and says she made a mistake. She actually needed me to use another car to secure the loan, one I would have never agreed to. Basically One main did hard hits on my credit, bringing the score down from a 670 to a 650. Cost me 1200 dollars and shresimply stated she had made a mistake. Now I have premium insurance on a car I don't drive and one main cost me the little bit of money I had. I will be filling all of this with the BBB. Thats not ok to do to anyone for a supposedly honest financial institution. It also cost me the time I needed to take off work and will continue to hurt my credit for the foreseeable future. Don't work with one main financial, atleast do not trust anything said and verbally guaranteed. I'm a veteran working hard to improve my credit and life, avoid this organization at all costs.
