Make sure you provide your loved ones with information on what to do in your death, as One Main will not provide any information to them should you die, and they really don't want to answer any questions you have, hopefully you take out the Single Life Ins Coverage that will cover your account in that event. The rep I spoke had a huffy attitude when I called to inquire about if a person dies and what happens to the account whether paid off or not. Not sure if she was hangry because it was lunch time, but her attitude was less than professional, and she wanted to rush me off the phone. She sounded as if I was annoying and bothering her. If that was the case I think she's in the wrong business. That is definitely NOT great customer service.

Customer service is okay until they secure your loan at a 29% interest rate. When you call for assistance or to make a payment they are typically very rude, especially Renee. The only thing keeping me from giving 1 star is the mini courses you can take on their website. I'm grateful to have paid off my loan and will never go back to them again. Also, as others have mentioned, they want to secure your vehicle for the loan and will be super pushy and even sneaky about it. Good luck!

WARNING READ BEFORE APPLYING!!
They don't accept any disability, unemployment or any temporary income. They will not tell you on the website, only AFTER they do a hard pull on your credit. Don't bother and save your credit score. I know have to dispute. Thanks so much OneMain Financial!

I will never recommend this place to anyone looking for a small loan. DO NOT do business at this One Main Financial branch. I'm not sure what her name is, but the lady seated to the left as soon as you enter the branch is very rude, flippant, and short-tempered. She should not be in the business of dealing with customers who ultimately pay her salary. On one occasion, I called the branch to speak with someone regarding some terms on my loan I was unclear about. Of course she answered the phone and was no help whatsoever. She seemed more interested in getting me off the phone so she could get back to whatever it was she was doing prior. I didn't really think much of it and figured I would just speak with someone else who has a lot more tact and patience on a later date. So on Friday, Feb 12, 2016 at approximately 5:07 PM, I went to the branch to make a $1,700 payment and ask the questions to another rep that weren't answered by the rude lady when I called. Once again, the rude lady seated at the desk on the left was working and rudely asked me what I needed. Told her I was there to make a payment and had some questions and she said "I can only take debit payments, not cash. We close out our tills 15 min before closing." I explained to her that I am a soldier in the U.S. Army and that was the earliest time I could make it due to my duty schedule and other obligations. I further explained that I had just drove 35 minutes across town after making a $1,500 withdrawal from my bank. Also informed her that it was still more than 15 minutes prior to closing, and even if it wasn't, what kind of business stops accepting cash transactions 15 minutes prior to closing without any prior notice to its customers? That's like Albertson's saying they close at 10PM but won't let you cash out at the register after 9:45PM. Utterly ridiculous!!! Needless to say, she did not accept my cash payment and I stormed out of the store very angrily. I will take this up as high as I can possibly take it. I have never been this angry after dealing with a rude customer service rep. I can usually just brush stuff like this off, but she took rude to a whole different level. I've personally witnessed her rude encounters with other customers and I now just want to avoid going to this branch altogether. I will advise anyone else to do the same.
