I am trying to decide if switching to a different financial institution would be best for me.
The last two weeks have been more frustrating working with employees trying to verify my employment, while we refinance our home.
First (Tuesday) they waited to call two hours before a prescheduled refinance mortgage appointment. I expressed my concern during the appointment that sometimes my bosses are gone for a week at a time, and they should not wait until the day of for any member. To me these appointments are very important and definitely not a cheap process. I asked what would happen if my employers were unavailable..because they waited until last minute I cannot get my loan processed?
Yesterday @ 9:30 am, an employee called me to tell me everything was ready to go, and expressed her apology for some of the nonsense that has happened. I was appreciative and hopeful.
Then someome called my employer again today! Three days after my appointment to again verify my employment for refinancing ..so why call again today and ask exact same questions?!
I called and left a voice mail for someone to call me and let me know where this process is at. I'm really disgusted at this point.

Get Saturday hours! Your lobby should be open by now with social distancing and cleaning procedures. Come on!! Why is this taking so long? Does a real person read these reviews? Nothing gets changed. Bad customer service.

Went to ask for a small 1000 loan months after paying 1500 loan and was refused for honestly no good reason. Central City was way better and more personal. Also was told I can replace a bank card on site over the phone then was turned down when I arrived. I had to call management to get my card issued to me. Not a happy customer

A couple of months ago I had my purse stolen. My husband and I went to Simplicity to get our savings and checking accounts closed and then reopened with new account numbers. The people at this credit union were very understanding and helpful. We have never had a bad experience at Simplicity.

Horrible customer service. Need 50 forms of ID to access savings/ checking balances over the phone! With central city it was the last four of your social, name, and b-day. Now they ask for a lot of personal info over the phone...and the phone receptionists talk like robots...like they are reading scripts..very unhumanistic. $5 fee for transfer of savings to checking...how's that for service! Time for a new bank.

About a year ago, my family went to New York and we let the bank know we were going. Our card was declining because a hotel double charged us, and when we called the bank to ask them what was going on, the employee we talked to was very rude because it was close to closing time. It’s ok to be upset about that stuff but don’t direct your anger towards other people. If you don’t like the job, don’t work there.

Nydia assisted me in clearing an issue which was extremely stressful. She patient, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend contacting Nydia with any concerns. She was instrumental in solving the problem in a timely manner. Thank you, Nydia!!!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. The customer service and communication from this bank is terrible. I have had nothing but problems since getting a car loan here. They are difficult to get going due to the lack of communication on what the bank needs. They also do not communicate or ask what services you want. I said I simply wanted a car loan, no extra warranties or insurance. I was assured I didn't get any. Now that I am looking into it I was charged over $2000 in extras that I never wanted and am unable to cancel. When you call to use these extras you paid for, no one knows how to get it done. Absolute awful experience and terrible bank in general. I will never use this bank for anything again.
