Have always had good service with this bank i been with it first least 50 years , wouldn't want to deal with no other bank

This bank will not protect your money. I would only ever recommend them as an act of deliberate malice.
When I was a Capon Valley customer, someone put fraudulent charges on my account for their phone bill with Verizon. I contacted the bank to get this to stop. This matter went up to the Wardensville branch - which is their headquarters - and they told me to contact Verizon about it. Verizon refused to speak with me, since they only communicate with their customers.
Even when I asked and begged, Capon Valley would do nothing until I typed a multipage report about my phone calls and the bank statement showing the fraudulent charge. That is what it took for them to act: I had to do all of the work! But if a bank won't protect your assets, then why be a customer?

Our family has been blessed to have found this bank for our home construction project. Abnormal circumstances have changed our trajectory. Melba and Fred have gone above and beyond to accommodate and make our project happen. It’s nice to have a small town bank that actually cares about the customer and their future. Thank You just isn’t enough! ❤️
