Absolutely the worst credit union in the world, would 10/10 not recommend these guys, Absolutely terrible customer service, the website is either always down or always in maintenance, the loan officers act like it's the first day on the job, any transactions you want to do with them takes forever, and if you need something mailed out, they refuse to express it or even send it fed ex, nope just good Ole nail mail with usps. So if you're looking for a loan I would DEFINITELY NOT GO WITH THESE GUYS! Turn around and run away.

I tried to send a family member money that banks at Sunlight Credit Union. The transfers never went though and for whatever reason they use multiple transfer systems with wires. I took talking to 3 deferent representatives and over an hour just to transfer funds. The one saving grace is the representatives were friendly and did their best in an overly complicated way to do wire transfers.

So, I have been banking at Sunlight for about 17 years, they offer all the things other Credit Unions offer, so I can’t give them points for that. Where they shine is their in person service, but they are not going to call you to warn of an overdraft, or stop one from occurring. They will however go through a debit card company that bars any out of state or country transaction. A debit card company that will block random transactions making any use of your card a near headache. They have improved that over the years to where you can go a month or so without a failed transaction. But they have no issue hanging up on you if you’re on hold getting help to resolve an issue.

The tellers are always friendly and willing to help you figure things out, no matter how small or big. Fast service. I have my car loan here as well and have had no issues. My only complaint is the online banking format being so old.

I have been banking at sunlight for many years, dec of 2013 my account got scammed for 402.50 dollars. I did everything I was told to do like filing a police report, I called the 2 stores where my card was used. the thing is I had my card, I believe I was scammed by a device called a skimmer. anyway 4 months went by and I finally called over to the cody branch and the person I talked to basically thought I ripped my own bank off. one of her comments was you better have a good picture on your drivers license so in case they may have the theif on video. the messed up part is when these transactions were made in Denver CO. I was at work in Sheridan WY. I don't know what this person wants me to but needless to say she never called me back and its been over a year. I am changing banks because I will not bank somewhere where they think I ripped them off......I really did love this place....

Is a total sweetheart. That lady is a god send and she's helped me more times then I could ever count. You wanna bank at the best credit union around? Then come here, they'll treat you right. For all of you that like to bad mouth these wonderful people. You just come to me and I'll set you right!
