I've had an ongoing mediocre to bad experience at this location since before COVID. The first cause of friction was getting lectured to memorize my account number because they didn't want to look it up. Okay, that's fair, but the employee was pretty tart about it. I also used to just swipe my debit card for deposits and withdrawals at Bank of the West and was met with smiles and great service.
Side note: verifying this bank through Plaid for any stock exchange flat out doesn't work. If I didn't think Wells Fargo was a completely garbage and unethical bank I would already have closed my account.
Now comes the complications caused by a combination of me always having cash to deposit mixed with it being drive through only for COVID. A lot of times a bill sticks to another bill so my count is off. I get that is partially my fault for not being thorough. The problem arises in that they won't let me send my cash through to them to use the counter machine. I get the concept; they could skim some of my cash off the top and never tell me. So it's for my protection. But, the same person who lectured me on memorizing my account number is pretty unforgiving of when I make a human counting error. The other day they sent my money back through the tube and said something like "The machine had a different number" and then bailed away from the microphone as fast as possible. Left me asking to no one in particular "what number did the machine get?" So I could adjust my deposit slip. I also don't see why they couldn't have just sent me back the extra cash so I didn't have to rewrite my slip and end up having the whole trip take about 20 minutes for a simple cash deposit. The certain employee never even came back to the microphone and I had to finish with someone else, who spontaneously decided to have to verify my identification to deposit to my own account.
I have to say, this is the worst overall banking experience over a span of a couple years that I have had in my life. I can tell that some of the employees mean well, but this place needs to get it together.
Rumor has it they hand out salty flavored lollipops. Just kidding, but you get the idea.

Would never recommend them. Have had an account with them for multiple years but after today and the manager Cynthia and her blatant abuse of power as a manager I have had to file a complaint with the federal treasury. They are now investigating my complaint the company is a joke can’t get management to call back even after multiple voicemails left with there regional manager

I've left messages over the last several days for a personal banker to return my call. No one answers the phone nor returns calls.

Free checking account changed to $18 per month. Not a bank you can trust.

Called 5 times in a single day and no one ever returned my call. Terrible customer service, not like Citizens was.
