When I originally signed up for my account, I spoke directly with the woman who told me about the overdraft protection option. I specifically told her I did not wish to have overdraft protection and that I wanted my account to be blocked from going over. Months later, I go through my account only to find out they've been charging me overdraft fees consisntely. As it's only $28 here or there I didn't feel as though it was a big enough concern to put too much weight into it. My family and I moved to IL which resulted in a huge financial burden to us. We were forced to move from our home because of mold amongst other things. I had an issue with UHaul because they overcharged me almost $520 for a car dolly we rented. As I'm sure you can imagine this posed a HUGE financial burden on us and it managed to overdraw my account to the point where every single item we had purchased was causing back to back $28 fees. And this is because their system is so outdated that I was unable to track my account the way I would with a much more updates bank or app. There was nearly $200 in fees because of this UHaul incident and the systems failure to update my balance accordingly. I contacted the bank and requested to speak with someone about what was going on and to literally beg them to help me because I originally stated, clearly, that I didn't want the overdraft protection in the first place and now it's caused a huge ruckus. My paycheck posted and nearly half of it was gone. I begged them to help me with some of the fees because I was so distraught and, was desperate for assistance anywhere I could get it. I even mentioned that I didn't want the ODP in the first place but somehow there must have been a misunderstanding. They informed me that they had my signature on a piece of paper which confirmed the ODP and, there was nothing they were going to do about the fees or the ODP. I explained that there must have been an error and advised I must have mistakenly selected the wrong box because I spoke to the woman who opened my account and clearly told her, more than once, that I was not interested in ODP. The woman said she understood but they still wouldn't do anything about the fees and basically told me it was my problem and to deal with it. I have not yet recovered financially due to UHaul refusing to refund my money even though I clearly have a contract specifying what The amount I owed is, and the bank is refusing to assist me at all with a single fee even though I specifically stated that I didn't want the ODP. Not to mention they said they won't remove it at all unless I walk into the bank in person and I am nearly 10 hrs away. I will be letting my accounts cancel and, it may not mean anything to them at all because they can always get new customers but, these people are the reason a lot of people are scared to put their money in the banks. They're a rip off! They only care about how much money they can get out of you and, not about the actual customer service. I didn't ask them to do anything about the fees if acquired previously. I was only asking about this one time because there are so many and, my account had been depleted. I refuse to do business with these people again. This has been, by far, the worst experience I've ever had with a bank.

ATM refuses card from another Credit Union.
Allows you to go through all the steps and then prints receipt saying your card can not be used here.
My credit union says there is nothing wrong with my card or account.
