I waited 20 mins for a money order.. still didn't get it cause once he went to help me , someone stopped him again... rude.. he didn't bother even being polite or anything...

If possible I would give absolutely no stars. Cashed my stimulus check, (1/15/21) asked for small bills, received all $20's. Asked my employee...Thatcher, if I could get some $5 and $10's. Was told you just gave me a $5 so why do you need them now? Little snot-nosed man-child. Don't really need the attitude. So frustrated with others who feel that they are superior to others. Dude, its Amscot.....not even a real bank. E-mailed corporate...who stated they called twice...they did not. Asked them to contact me via e-mail not phone. Why bother to ask preferred method of contact if your going to ignore???? Just an all around poor experience.

Horrible horrible service!!! Waiting an hour at a window while he helped everyone else but me. I was here before everyone and was ignored for an hour while one guy services many people. It’s simple- FINISH with one customer BEFORE starting with another. Hire more people if it’s that busy. I bet they don’t even care because they already have so many poor reviews. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I recently went here with a money order my mother has sent from my son a month and a half ago I already gave him the money in advance and just had the money order sitting in my car and finally decided to not be lazy and cash it in. They come and gather around like if I’m some type of criminal and asked me why am I cashing a money order a month and a half late I mean it’s a money order the money never expires essentially somebody paid for this so I could be sent they wanted to fingerprint and ID me and everything I’ve never done that in any Amscot and they couldn’t provide any particular reason I thought it was pretty stereo typical that a colored man will come in and cash a money order a month and a half and suspected it was probably fraud it was $140 my mother gave to my son. They were treating me like it was a fake money order or something I was pretty offended when I called my mother in front of them she started laughing because she couldn’t believe it also and she said just go to the post office they cash it for free that’s where she got it at anyway I will not be coming to Amscot ever for no money orders are to cash anything in

Very poor attitude from the guy when i asked for a pen. Also he typed my bill in twice and tells me its an invalid account # and to call the company. What an imbecile! So i go to another Amscot and paid it no problem. He needs to Be Fired!

Today I had to go to this Amscot which is the closest to buy a money order for my mother, we are both Latinos and in my case, I only understand a little English, but I know that I have this limitation with the language I went with the information that they were going to ask me printed to facilitate communication, we were very polite with the Sr. When he gave us the money order, when we checked it we saw that there was a mistake in the name of my mother that I gave him printed, of course, we were not bothered that he had made a mistake, but he took a very unpleasant attitude with us, speaking low in his language, and with a face of hatred towards us, the communication during our stay was not fluent because of our language limitations, but the mistake in the name was not our fault, because he copied it wrong, we felt discriminated, unfortunate attitude on his part, we have visited this amscot in previous occasions and the service until today had been fine, this happened about 1: 10 pm 01/30/23.
