I knew it was going to be a uphill road when I said hello and the store agent said nothing. I asked the gentleman, named Lamar, about the procedure when there is a money order that was not cashed. Lamar was very curt and impolite when providing the information. He had discourteous body language and I had to ask him the same question a couple of times keeping in mind there is no one else in the store. I asked to have a notary signature for my business as a notary. I am recently married and brought my documents, however Lamar did not ask for any documents just said he cannot do it. He was short with his words and for sake I would not trust a person with that type of mindset to run a store.I went to another Amscot and was able to get all the information I needed with stellar customer service. This post does not speak of Amacot as a whole but for that employee,Lamar who doesn’t incorporate the values Amscot has for their customers.

They refused to provide services. Went with friend to each purchase a sunpass. The clerk said we could only buy one pass due to shortages, we said no problem we are each only buying one. She said that since we came in together only one of us could buy one...we explained we rode together but are from two different households and paying separately, offered to show id so she could see. She still refused..said since we rode together only one of us could purchase. Ridiculous that we would need to drive separately to be treated as separate customers...rude, and no common sense being used.

Returning customer. One agent at this location was rude and condescending when I called about clarification; did not want to provide the branch number, kept cutting me off, talked down to me as if I was ignorant. I called the toll free number and their agent helped with all the issues and questions I needed clarification on easily with no attitude or down talking; I explained everything exactly as I did to the in-store agent. He explained everything patiently with accurate and sensible details that ACTUALLY makes we want to keep business with them.
The company itself is a good business but that particular agent was rude and lacked basic customer service skills.

After being run around at pebble creek amscot by new girl twice now been going there over 4 years will never enter pebble creek again. I went to preserves had no problems and she told me she was sorry that happened to me.

Yeah I had the same experience with the supervisor very rude, and asked him a simple question about purchasing a money order, and he was just rude attitude plus he never gave me an answer I got upset and walked out,, just so you know more than 20 people I know have the same issue with him and we all going to write a review like this every time he is in the store,Tuesday January 4

One of the employees, Dana, is absolutely rude towards guest. Every time I’ve come to this location she thinks it’s okay to make comments that belittles customers. She works in customer care and definitely needs to work on how she articulates her concerns towards customers. There are better ways to speak to people.
