I ALWAYS have a pleasant experience when I come to this Amscot location. I have been coming here for 14 years now! Tony, Merlien, and Wendy know their stuff. They are accurately knowledgeable about company processes and procedures. Even when I have questions about things, they always steer me in the right direction. When policies shift, they don't hesitate to let you know about the changes. They are always quick and precise. Staff that is personable and friendly is important to me. They are that! I never have to wait long to be serviced; and it is not because they aren't busy, because they are. If you have a bad experience at THIS location, check yourself, because perhaps YOU may need to work on some personal social issues. I appreciate this Amscot financial institution! I sometimes wish they could be my personal bank for ALL my banking needs!

I been coming to this Amscot location for about a year and it has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. The employees here do not like to help or answer any questions whether you come in person or call over the phone. I called today to ask the woman at Amscot a question which was rude about answering and in end never even answered my question. I then called the Amscot in Zephyrhills which the man answering the phone has better customer service and actually wanted to help me out with the questions I had. Do Not come to this location , the employees here are rude and I’ve seen it in person how the employees are rude to other customers coming in. It makes no sense how employees in other Amscot locations have employees that know how to be respectful and helpful to their customers but this only location in the area that doesn’t. If these employees hate their jobs this much why don’t you just let someone else that would take this job seriously and provide good customer service.
Read the other negative reviews they are not lying they are rude here!!!
Amscot should serious close this location down.

This is my fourth time going to this location. The attendant I had this morning 01/04/2019 at 10:20am was rude, unfriendly, all round poor customer service.
When I got to amscot this morning I said Good Morning and handed the attendant a paper of the amount I wanted in money orders.
The attendant, who was loud and rude asked what I’m going to do with the money.
I was super offended! Why would I want to announce to everyone what I was going to do with MY MONEY.
Then she said out loud because of the amount I have to ask.
GREAT.
Now this put me in a very unsafe position because I don’t know who’s listening and possibly may want to rob me once I leave the building. Why wasn’t my ID enough??
So then I kindly asked to have another attendant assist me. Then a gentleman said he’ll assist me, I’m not sure if he was the shift lead or what.
Then he to started discussing my last address and also asked what was I going to use the money order for. Why in the world would I want other people to my personal business!!??!!
You think if I was going to do something Illegal I was going to state the truth!!?? IDIOT !!
Nevertheless I’m NEVER going back!

First time I’ve ever used Amscot, and due to the rude representative at the store I used (Bruce b downs, Tampa) I never will again.
The women were so rude, even other customers were complaining of rude treatment. In fact she said I can’t do the WesternUnion because I don’t have the right information. I send western union all the time so I know it wasn’t correct. They said the same thing to man next to me, he demanded the manager who told the teller she was mistaken.

Went to this Amscot to pay a ticket this morning and was met with some of the worst customer service I have ever received.The teller was very rude and Condescending. I was Talked down to from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. If it were not for my strong patience I would of gave here a peace of my mind. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!.I’ve seen Several reviews of people going threw the same thing at this establishment.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO TO ANY OTHER AMSCOT IN THE WESLEY CHAPLE/NEW TAMPA AREA! STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I didn't catch the girls name but I just called in to ask some questions and a very helpful young lady answered all of my questions patiently. Great customer service!! I'm very happy with this experience with the nighttime crew. I hope the owner sees this and gives her a raise or some kind of reward.

Absolute morons work in this location.
I called ahead to ask if they did cashier checks, and I was told yes. Then when I arrived I'm told by the teller that they don't do cashier checks, only money orders. Wasting my time!
