There are a few employees here which are really great, Becca being one of them. I am always glad when she is working. However, some of the new tellers they have hired within the last few months make me nervous dealing with money. One gentlemen tried to tell me I didn't have enough money and got very confused with trying to do both a deposit and then a cashiers check at one time. I had to then confirm the account amount and tell him again what I was wanting. I am used to this bank usually always asking what bills I want with cash, but I have now made it a habit to just have this always written on a post it and handed directly to them because the newer ones don't ask. I had another teller try and give me a money order instead of a cashiers check because they were trying to give me the cheaper option. While I appreciate that, there was very specific reason for requesting a cashiers check instead of a money order. Please either train new employees more effectively or hire those who can communicate. Simply asking if I wanted a money order instead would have solved the problem rather than creating more work for themselves in the long run. Again, some of the more experienced employees are really great. I just know that if I see certain ones working it's going to take longer. (somerset location)

The people at Greater Iowa Credit Union are always professional and caring. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable banking with them. I feel safe in doing business here. The app is easy to use for tracking finances as well.

Workers at this location are absolutely clueless on processes or general knowledge of their department. If you are offered a loan for financing with this bank/credit union I would highly suggest finding somewhere else to finance through, or refinance to another entity as soon as possible.
They are nice, but no one seems to understand their job and how to do anything. I don’t trust anything done here.

GICU is a very professional CU. They have let me know every time that my account looks like a fraudulent transaction has been made. I would refer anyone to GICU.

Horrible customer service. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. With all of the competition with banks, I am shocked they don’t have friendly employees. We are definitely taking our money elsewhere.
