Worst bank I’ve ever had to deal with. Their main goal is to make it as inconvenient as humanly possible to have access to YOUR money. Empower is a complete joke. Please do yourself a favor and never bank here. You’re better off stashing your money under your mattress.

Worst bank I have banked with. They won't let me even see how much I have in my own account. You can call and verify everything about you but they won't tell you anything unless you have a magic password that you can not remember because I don't use the account that much and it's been open for 5 years. Will be closing my account tomorrow finally. Also asked for rates on mortgages and they told me they won't help with any of it.

Went there on a Saturday during business hours and the door was locked. I got there at 12:35... not sure why they locked the doors so early but extremely frustrating as I physically can only go to the bank on a Saturday due to my work schedule.

There call center is terrible. I waited on hold for almost 20 min and they could not give me my balance. There is little to no customer service over the phone. The women refused to transfer my call and could not help me. Said I would get a call in the next 48 hours not sure what good that will do me.

Horrible HORRIBLE BANK!!!!!! I wish I NEVER got involved with this place! It’s been nothing but a HASSLE FOR US from day one! Can’t do auto-pay cause my bank is outside of them- tried too many times to count! Waste of time!!! Then every month you have to be tortured waiting in there endless lobby, endless drive thru that are both LONG LINES, not enough people working, slower than molasses! ATM machine every single month the same thing—20-30 minutes trying to put your money in machine- it keeps spitting the bills 💵 out, takes 6-7 tries to get it all in!!!! Customer service isn’t worth me waste my energy on!!!! As soon as I can refinance I am!!! And the guy who complained in his review about this horrible bank reporting him to credit bureaus they did same thing to me and I was current!!!!! And I make my payment every single month by due date/ and the harassment starts day of/ for days after calls ☎️ About past due/ when it’s current! You live and learn!!!! Stay clear, of this place!!!!

Run from this Credit Union! I had a motorcycle loan with them. The first major fiasco involved Empower adding a $1,200 insurance policy to my loan because they claimed I didn't have insurance (I did). This took a major amount of time to get credited back. My insurance company actually offered to pay the fee themselves because Empower was so difficult to work with. 2nd major problem: I paid my loan off early, Empower applied my final payment to a "savings account" and then started calling saying that I was past due. I explained the loan was paid and they finally found the payment in some hoaky savings account! Then, to top all that off, Empower reports to the credit bureau that I am late on my payments, when in fact I am paid in advance! This Empower Credit Union is a total mess! Avoid for your own sake!
