I am a new client of Genisys because they funded my auto loan. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the inconvenience of setting up and maintaining auto-pay online. I am able to enter my account information for recurring payments but if I want to make an additional payment, I will have to cancel my recurring payments, make an additional payment, and then reenter my information to reestablish my recurring payments. This process was confirmed by a Genisys employee and it just doesn't make sense. I've never come across anything like this with any other bank institution. Maybe they want to discourage additional payments, idk. Another dislike (which is not a huge deal) is I can only make a maximum payment of $2500 online.

2 stars is being nice I feel, I did an auto loan through a 3rd party that sold the loan to Genisys, that process went great. After that I kept calling because i did not receive a welcome packet with my loan info and how to make my first payment. This went on for about a month, with only 2 weeks until my first payment I told them to check the system because they must have my address wrong, and they did, completely wrong. I eventually received my packet and setting up my payments and logging into the system was pretty easy. Then I kept getting letters from a 3rd party insurance verification company that said my insurance did not meet Genisys's criteria. I looked up up and it did, but I uploaded it again into their system on the 3rd party site. 2 months later I get another letter stating my the same and lenders placed insurance has been purchases and added to my loan for $4k. Tried calling the 3rd party , waited on hold for 30 mins and pushed 1 for a call back which I never got. Called Genisys and did the same, no call back. Finally found a chat option on the insurance site, spoke to someone and they apparently cannot read the insurance documents which clearly stated I have comprehensive coverage which is what they said I was missing. The individual told me lender placed insurance hasn't been placed on the loan yet and that I updated it just in time. what a nightmare this has been for a simple car loan.

I have had a good experience with our local facility on rte 202. Teh employees and mgr have been positive.
I also have a loan with an attractive rate that is a positive.
I also have a checking account with a high interest rate if the accoint has at least $7500 balance.
The negative experience has been with your auto breakdown coverage which has been a total negative. The lady who I spoke to on the phone knew almost nothing about the plans as she struggled to give me even the barest information. She had me wait while she tried to look up answers to my questions but when she came back on the phone she still had almost no answers. Finally i could wait no longer and I asked her to do the proper research and get back to me which she promised to do ...but never did! John Henry

I have had a few auto loans with Genisys and have always had a 100% positive experience. The staff is always treated me professional, from Wendy, Pat and Ritu, I would not bank any where else.

Words cannot describe how much these people treat you like family and make sure you get taken care of in the most professional and caring way possible. I’ve been a member since I think 2016 and have gotten multiple loans throughout the years from Ritu, pat, Wendy, and more recently Edy and Jennifer. Edy and Jennifer are amongst the nicest people I’ve ever met and make sure I’m taken care of financially and personally! The blue bell branch will go to the ends of the earth if it means they’re able to assist you ! Thank you
