If I could give negative stars I would. I had a vehicle loan threw them.. for 5 years never missed a payment and in January I owed 1200 on the loan. I sent a 600 dollar payment and they lost my job due to the pandemic. The state of New Jersey hasn't paid me the unemployment yet. They are so far behind.. so members 1st not only repossessed my vehicle but the amount owed went from 600 to 2100. Thanks! In this country time of need is great to know a upstanding bank like this is there for us.. don't use this bank. DO NOT USE THIS BANK

I had hoped Members 1st would be different than the big banks, but they aren't that much different. They are always trying to hit us up with fees. The branch employees, however, are always exceptional & do whatever they can to help! If I have an issue & physically go into my local branch (ephrata), it will be resolved quickly and pleasantly, and I leave feeling like I've just experienced exceptional customer service. If I have to deal with corporate/live chat, it's a completely different experience - impersonal & unwilling to treat members any differently than a "big box" banking institution, such as Chase or Wells Fargo. Overall, of Corporate would take a few lessons from their branch employees, banking here would be a completely different experience!

When I started the Members 1st thought the service was great. Lately not so much - getting charged fees I shouldn't be charged. I went to the Ephrata branch - and as with the big banks the system is skewed to the bank. They can hold checks for 2 days and start charging overdraft fees even though by balance NEVER was less than 0.... Oh well will close this account next week and move to local bank. Hopefully their customers mean more to them than what Members 1st customers do. Will not get into the rest of the conversation with the teller - but I don't feel as though I was treated as a valued customer! - So I must assume I am not!!!

I've been treated exceptionally well from day 1 at this branch. I had accounts at Lancaster Red Rose Credit Union, TD and Bank of America. They could all learn from this institution. I've closed the LRRCU and TD accounts so far as their charges and poor customer service became too much for me. If you have a problem dealing with this bank, you'll find you'll also have the same problems/issues elsewhere.

Every time I have issues with members first(which is often) with the online banking. The staff here takes care of it immediately with courtesy and professionalism like manner. I greatly appreciate you guys making me feel safe and satisfied through every transaction, thank you :).
