People are RUDE. I think out of all the times I've been here I can think of one where the person was nice... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER. Denies my checks and purchases regardless of money available. I'm tired of being stranded and I am not able to use my money. Cannot change limit on your debit card. Limited per day. No change EVER. Deny my check when there is more than enough money to cover it, for an emergency I can't even spend the money in my account. No number to call to help me either. I'm done. I am withdrawaling everything and going someplace else.

The head teller Marcia was pretty rude when we went in today. From the moment we walked in she had a snotty look on her face. Asked for current ID because my fiance's ID on file was expired, he was confused and asked what she meant because he didn't remember ever having a different ID on file, she takes it upon herself to turn her entire computer screen and screech "nope! you did! See! Right here! Look at that one and look at this one! You did!" in the rudest tone. Super unnecessary and obnoxious. Not sure if it was a bad day or a power trip, but she could definitely stand to learn some customer service skills.... if you're a lead teller then you should lead by example for other tellers, not be rude to your customers.

I really wish I could give this credit union ZERO stars. I have had a Gmail account for years and I have never went online to leave a negative review. I am currently with 3-4 credit unions and 3 banks, and I have never experienced such a lack of customer care. Americo reported me to the Bureau for a late payment. Before they reported me I had noticed they sent me a letter in the mail that my payment was late, so when I called the branch I was told by numerous employees that I had nothing to worry about and that my payments were made on time. A few days go by and I realize my online banking is still showing late, so I called Americo back and again I was told my payments were on time and current, and not to worry. At the end of that month I had realized my Discover card showed a big decrease in my FICO score, followed by Credit Karma. I call Americo again and was told by April that they had no record of reporting me to the Bureau. I had to actually pull my credit report to show them they did indeed report me.
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? What kind of financial institution is that clueless? I was even told I should have never taken a "tellers" word about my loan situation? REALLY? Do you not train your employees on how to read a late payment or maybe to forward the call to someone with a tad bit of knowledge. NOPE...Well, now my perfect credit score has significantly dropped. All I wanted was some assistance or maybe even a few tips on how to get this resolved and was left with no returned phone calls or emails after being told my complaint was moving up the chain. Well apparently that chain has broke. At one point in conversation about this, an employee "April" actually giggled on the phone. I feel there is nothing funny about this especially when I have been an outstanding client to this bank with ZERO missed payments in a 4 year span for auto/personal loans. Friday the 5th I went to the bank in person to try and talk to the CEO who sit's in the back of this tiny office, but was told she was to busy to see me today. I spoke to Karen who seemed genuine, but ultimately had ZERO solutions, so I just paid the loan off in full and cancelled all of my accounts... Rest assured, I will be referring everyone I know to any credit union besides this one....
Thanks for taking care of your local clients!

I've been happily with Americo for many years, but service has gone downhill lately. I had an issue last week and they were very rude and short with me on the phone. They only solved half my issue leaving me without access to my money.
